What is Chiropractic?

    It’s really quite simple....

     Most likely, you’re been taught to think of chiropractic as some kind of treatment for back or neck pain.  It’s true, we see a number of people suffering with a variety of such problems.  However, and more important, is the knowing that chiropractic is so much more than the relief of pain.

     You may be amazed to discover that most of the problems that surface in adult years actually start in childhood, and many times, start because of the birth process because it can be so traumatic.

     That’s the reason we place so much emphasis on children and their growth and development.
Your child’s spine, and yours, is the lifeline.  Going down the spine, is the spinal cord carrying billions of messages which make your body function correctly.

     This information goes to every muscle, organ, tissue and cell in your body.  It is absolutely essential the information gets through, and that there’s no interference, interruption or blockage of that information.

     If there is any interference, interruption or blockage, then the body starts to malfunction and breakdown.  This can be a serious threat to your life and health.  This interference is called a vertebral subluxation .  In its simplest terms a subluxtion is when one or more vertebrae of the spine is misaligned causing an interference to the nerve flow and function.  You see, as long as your nervous system is able to effectively communicate with every muscle, organ, tissue and cell of your body, you should have the best health possible.  If your nervous system is not able to communicate properly, your body will not have the ability to do what it is designed to do - to be healthy.  This is the start of pain, dysfunction, disease.

     Our goal is to eliminate this communication breakdown and help restore the proper communication, so your body can once again do what it is designed and programmed to do - be healthy.
